Deep-frozen for many decades, something is on the verge of being released from obscurity. Dark Star is the project of Wolfgang Reffert. In the late '80s through the early '90s he released a couple of albums that invoke the darkness of infinite space. Clearly influenced by '60s and '70s sci-fi, the mechanical grooves and spiraling synths bring to mind the worlds of Alien (1979), The Forbidden Planet (1956), and Solaris (1972). Utilizing a less-is-more aesthetic, Dark Star breathtakingly soundtracked space travel to far-away galaxies like no other. Rhythmic post-punk drums lay the foundation for slow, down-tuned space rock that goes deep into industrial proto-techno-like territory, while always maintaining a sense of groove. Resurrected from the days of yesteryear, Dark Star once again re-imagines the eternal harshness and emptiness surrounding spaceship Earth. Cyborgs, extraterrestrials and genetically modified creatures rejoice on the dance floor! Cryonics: 1989-1992 is a collection of Dark Star's best material, originally released on two cassettes and one CD. Mastered by Wouter Brandenburg. Photography by Rogier Houwen. Keeping the crusty heels at bay!

I deal with chronic dry heels that crack if left unmanaged. I bought these in hopes that when I do soak and scrub my heels that I can keep the cracking at bay. These have been a godsend. I wear them every night and my heels are nice and soft. I plan on purchasing more.
A couple of things I have noticed, if I wear these during the day, the bottom of my feet do seem to sweat and there is some slipping. I have only washed these are directed (hand washing) and you will want to after a couple washes because it could give a sweaty feet smell. Overall, I highly recommend.

Moisturized heels out of the box

Work without adding anything to your feet, but there are extra nice if you wanted to add a moisturizer to you heel and not get it all over your socks. Worth the money!

X-Large is about a size 12-13 shoe size foot USA.

I love them they work fantastic. I am a big guy with swollen feet. Wear size 12 to 13 USA Shoes. They fit me just fine not tight. My feet felt good after wearing them for two days. Some dry skin pulled off with them and it says to wash by hand. I dont know about the durability but I am hoping to get about 5 uses per pair. Before they become unusable.
