The slip-resistant rubber outsole provides maximum stability and traction, and the waterproof membrane keeps out moisture. Besides exceeding the ATSM F489-96 test for slip resistance, these boots also offer blood-borne pathogen resistance for dealing with hazardous materials. They include an airport-friendly nylon shank and a Texon Lasting board for comfort and lightweight arch support. The molded counters secure ankles to prevent ankle roll when running or performing strenuous actions and ensure that the boots keep their shape. The ultra-protective composite safety toe is ASTM F2413-05 M/I/75/C/75 rated.
