The unreleased album “CAMILLE” was completed in 1986, at the height of Prince's creativity, but was not released.
It was produced as an alias project of Prince, and was scheduled to be released under the name of “CAMILLE,” an incarnation with a characteristically pitched-up processed voice, but the release was cancelled just before the release, and it suffered the same fate as the “Black Album” that followed. However, the songs were eventually released in a different form on the double-disc epic “Sign of the Times,” but it has never been officially released as an album.

On CD1, all eight tracks are presented on CD in the best sound quality ever, direct copies of the authentic original masters from the original test pressings, which were only brought to attention through an auction in 2016. In addition, the extras include two songs that were to be added to the project, “You Got the Look” and “Scarlet Pussy,” as well as versions not included on the album.

CD2 contains a collection of unreleased songs and demos from the same period that were not included on the album but were voiced by “Camille”.
The CD2 includes the early version of “Crystal Ball” and “Soul Psychedelicide” which is nearly 20 minutes long, and many other interesting recordings from the same period.
