The Petopentia natalensis flower comes in shades of brown, maroon, or white and blooms in early summer. The plant also produces a large, attractive tuber above ground that efficiently stores water for extended periods. While this variety requires frequent watering during the summer months, it is important to reduce or avoid watering in the winter to prevent over-watering.
