2018 release. Elegy is the third full length from Prophecy Productions atmospheric black metal stalwarts Finnr's Cane. The Canadian trio has been carefully plotting a follow up to 2013's A Portrait Painted By The Sun and the next chapter in their musical journey falls perfectly in conjunction with the bands 10th birthday. The band have come a long way from their 2010 debut, Wanderlust, by embracing broader instrumentation and focusing more on structure. The use of cello instead of bass guitar in particular makes this band unique since it's inception though. With themes of urban desolation, loss and grieving, personal struggle, the rebirth of the natural world, the quiet hours of the early morning, and the passage of time, Elegy is the logical next step for Finnr's Cane. In the words of founding member, The Bard: "Our vision is always to create the kind of music that we want to hear. The music on 'Elegy' places a lot of emphasis on emotion, and there is a sad yet uplifting feel to much of it. The sound is lush and atmospheric. Listening to the album is very therapeutic for me, and I hope others can find some degree of solace in it as well." Finnr's Cane have unearthed something here that takes the listener on an ethereal odyssey. The darkly progressive music of Elegy embraces all that the band has refined over the past decade. Drummer The Peasant tells us "The songs on Elegy are more structured than those from our previous two albums. While the foundation of the music is still rooted in traditional metal, minimalism, and improvisation, with this release we focused more heavily on dynamics and atmosphere. The final product is a musical experience that can set your mind adrift." With this taken into consideration, prepare to go forth on an epic adventure from the opening chords of "Willow" all the way through to the poetic send off of "A Sky Of Violet And Pearl". Elegy proves once more that there is much more to Finnr's Cane than meets the eye.

Strong, Durable, and SIMPLE Frother

Excellent frother! It is ‘SIMPLE’, yet very efficient blending. I love that it included a set of long-lasting batteries. The motor on this frother is strong and works great. The item itself is of durable quality. I have had mine for about 9 months and use it daily for my coffee and other drinks throughout my week, and the battery is still running. I even give it a spin after washing the frother spinner/coil. This helps to dry it thoroughly, as the motor is strong enough to blow away any excess water - and still - the batteries are functioning well. The price is just right…very affordable compared to other brands. I’m very pleased with this purchase and absolutely love that it also came with a stand. I display it on my counter everyday. There are 3 solid and Simple colors to choose from, making this an easier shopping experience. Excellent choice for gifting!

Found the perfect chai frother on a budget!

Okay so I'll be honest, I spent way too long researching milk frothers before pulling the trigger on this one lol. As someone who grew up drinking chai every single day, having a good frother is kind of a big deal in my house. This little thing has been absolutely worth every penny.
First off – it's SO easy to use. My 7 year old actually thinks it's the coolest thing ever and wants to help make my morning coffee now, which is honestly adorable. It just works, no fuss, no learning curve.

The Stand Is the Unexpected Favorite

I use this at my morning coffee station for mixing powdered supplements into my coffee shake — more than one goes in and it handles them without complaint. For a small battery-operated device it has real power. Cleans easily. The foam quality is good for home lattes without any particular technique required. But my favorite part is, unexpectedly, the stand. It’s sturdy and well made and gives me somewhere sensible to set a dripping frother instead of it lying on the counter. A small thing that earns its counter space.
