About the Author

Ainsley de Salazar is a former surgical head nurse in two major New York City hospitals, and was an aesthetician with a successful practice. She has always had a critical eye for how women should present themselves and shares her wisdom to encourage all women to look their best. We respect others by presenting the best of ourselves, she says in her book, Self-Imaging from Head to Toe.

Born in Nicaragua, she has lived in New York City for most of her adult life. She has a son, Mauricio, and loves baseball and movies.
