Sennheiser GZL RG 58 - 0.25m Coaxial Cable

The Sennheiser GZL RG 58 - 0.25m (Article Number: 700158) is a professional-grade, 50-Ohm radio frequency (RF) coaxial antenna cable assembly. Measuring exactly 25 centimeters (9.84 inches) in length, this ultra-short interconnect is engineered specifically for stacking hardware modules directly on top of each other. It is the primary jumping cable used to hook up high-density wireless systems, such as bridging channels on a Sennheiser EW-D ASA antenna splitter or linking stacked evolution wireless receivers within a tight rack environment.

Key RF Signal Architecture

True 50-Ohm Impedance Match: Professional wireless audio networks rely entirely on a uniform 50-Ohm impedance architecture. This ultra-short 0.25-meter cable guarantees a solid 50-Ohm profile from end to end, eliminating localized standing wave reflections and phase mismatches that corrupt signal paths and trigger dropouts.

Absolute Minimum Lead Length: Spanning just 25 cm, this cable is designed to provide the cleanest possible layout behind equipment frames. Keeping the RF line short eliminates internal loops, preventing the cable from acting as an accidental induction antenna for power supplies or nearby digital processors.

Ultra-Low Resistance BNC Connections: Both ends of the cable terminate in heavy-duty, male-to-male BNC connectors. These utilize a standardized twist-and-lock coupling mechanism to safeguard your equipment hooks against mechanical vibration, accidental tugs, or moving rack frames.

RF Signal Loss and Attenuation Metrics

Coaxial lines experience a microscopic amount of signal attenuation over distance. Because this patching segment is kept down to an ultra-tight 0.25 meters, line loss is completely negligible. At a standard 20 degrees Celsius environment, the attenuation curves for this specific 0.25-meter run parse as follows:

Operating Frequency Channel Expected Signal Loss over 0.25 Meters
400 MHz (Lower UHF Segment) Approx. 0.08 dB loss
800 MHz (Upper UHF Segment) Approx. 0.14 dB loss
1000 MHz (Maximum Rating Threshold) Approx. 0.16 dB loss

System Implementation Guidelines

Keep Connections Clean: Because BNC connections operate at very high frequencies, microscopic bits of dust, oil from skin contact, or corrosion inside the barrel can mimic a major signal drop. Keep the internal pin contacts clean. If a rack link has been sitting unused or exposed to outdoor festival dust, blow it clear with compressed air before locking it down.

Protect the Bend Radius: Never pinch, kink, or force this cable into a tight, sharp 90-degree bend to clear a shallow rack lid. Bending the wire too sharply forces the center copper strand out of position relative to the outer foil shield. This localized physical change instantly skews the uniform 50-Ohm impedance shape, creating an RF bottleneck that bounces signal backward and reduces overall reception quality. Use smooth, looping layouts behind your gear.

not better than manual……!!!!!
Do Not Buy This Product. this review is coming at 1 April 2026. This can opener was purchased in October 2025. My initial review was that it worked well and did the job. It was meant to do however, after a few uses, I noticed that the can opener continue to move around and around the can even after the can lid had been cut open. in January 2026 it began to make more and more rotations around the can and the lid was not cut loose. After a few more uses. It just rotated and did nothing else. I sent an email to the company. I contacted Amazon about it. I’ve done everything that I can possibly see to do but I get no positive results. Consequently, I have a six month old can opener. It does not work. worked well for the first 10 or 20 uses; then the cutting edge just wore out (3-4mos.), so now my money was wasted. No explanation no offer, too bad.

Don't waste money on this one
Ordered in January 2026. Worked good the first few times. Now it just rotates around and around the can but doesn't cut anything. I'm so disappointed because it failed shortly after my return window closed.

Easy to use! No more hand cranking.
If you like the ease of an electric can opener, but don’t have room to store it or don’t want to drag it out when you need to use it, this is for you. I like a handheld can opener, but would get so frustrated trying to use it and turn the handle. This can opener is amazing and so easy to use. Just attach to can and push a button. It starts turning on its own and when it is done it stops. You lift it up and the lid comes off cleanly. It is rechargeable so need to worry about batteries. It tucks away in a drawer nicely. I bought my mom one too. She has arthritis in her hands so thought this would be perfect for her.

Smooth edges better than twisting
Works a lot better than the crank style and the counter top electric and you can use the lid to reseal the can if you don't use the whole thing.
