Painting & Modelling

Undercoat with Warhammer Chaos Black spray for a strong, dark base suited to the stealth aesthetic of Phobos Armour. Basecoat the armour in your Chapter's primary colour — for Ultramarines, use Warhammer Macragge Blue and apply Warhammer Nuln Oil for depth, then highlight with Warhammer Calgar Blue and Fenrisian Grey. Paint the camo cloak with Warhammer Contrast Militarum Green and stipple with Warhammer Straken Green for a realistic camouflage effect. Pick out the instigator bolt carbine in Warhammer Leadbelcher, wash with Warhammer Nuln Oil, and highlight with Warhammer Ironbreaker. Apply the included Ultramarines transfers and finish the base with Warhammer texture paints to complete the model.
