We've dispensed with chapter and verse numbers (they werenÕt added until the 1200s and 1500s, respectively), and we've put books that were split apart because they wouldnÕt fit on a single scroll (e.g., Ezra and Nehemiah) back into single books.
WeÕve also rearranged some of the books so they follow a more logical timeline and progression. We keep books with the same audience or author, or same theme or timeline, together. This makes it more cohesive for you to read. WeÕve used the World English Bible, a readable translation that allows you to traverse the whole of GodÕs word in thoroughly modern language.
