During Iamblichus' life, the depth and sublimity of his writing and discourse attracted a multitude of associates and disciples from all parts of the world. The Emperor Julian wrote of him, that he was posterior indeed in time, but not in genius, to Plato, and all the Platonists who succeeded him honored him with the epithet of divine. Iamblichus' account of the life of Pythagoras begins with the great philosopher's birth on the island of Samos, his youth, and his wide renown in Greece. It briefly covers his early travels and his studies with the philosophers Anaximander and Thales, his twenty-two years of instruction in the temples of Egypt, and his initiation into the Egyptian and Babylonian mysteries. The later life and work of Pythagoras are richly elaborated, with humorous and profound anecdotes illustrating his philosophy and providing a unique view of community life under his tutelage in Crotona. Included are excerpts from his teachings on harmonic science, dietetic medicine, friendship, temperance, politics, parenthood, the soul's former lives and many other topics. The best freetoes socks ever

Love this toeless socks so much! I could wear it all day. Very comfortable! It is just the right thickness which is suitable in summer time or cold weather as well. Most of the toeless socks I have seen have the gel on the heel area and I don't like the feel of it. I'd rather apply lotion on my heel then wear the socks.
I have had some issues with the packaging from Amazon and I made the maker of this said socks aware of it. Julia Bebben was very prompt in her response and very helpful. Thank you Julia for your excellent customer service.

great concept, just one tiny annoyance...

i love that a sock that lets your toes be free is even a thing that exists. i love that this company was started by a young girl, now turned young businesswoman.
i have pain in my big toes, so i can't wear close toed anything, but feet get stinky if you wear shoes/slippers all the time without socks. this is a great solution.
the only thing i find slightly annoying (not enough to stop using these) is the seam on the bottom of your foot, near the base of the toes. it is a straight line, which is fine on the top of the foot, but i wish the bottom itself curved a bit, to follow the line of the toes. as it is, the seam lands right in the middle if the ball of my feet, so i can feel the seams everytime i take a step. i am constantly pulling the seam toward the toes, to try to keep from feeling it, but then my pinky toe gets caught and balled up on the inside.
outside of that slight annoyance, they're comfortable and fit well.
