The Egg3 Luxury Bundle with Egg i-Size Car Seat in Mink has soft-touch tailored marl fabrics suavely dress a new bronze chassis, whilst a luxury handstitched handle and bumper bar in black perforation and traditional egg® signatures, finish Mink as it was supposed to be. The egg3 has a 5-position handle with an adjustment range of 99 x 111cm so its suitable for parents of any height, and with a redesigned central hub sporting a proud egg® logo, the central chassis is positioned 3.6cm higher making keeping an eye on your newborn easy when set up as a pram. Featuring a ‘one-hand fold’, the chassis is compact when folded and is freestanding, with the handle clear from the ground to avoid scuffing. Egg3 has a slightly extended wheelbase (6cm) which allows for an expansive shopping basket (21ltrs). Good for my collection.
Format: Hardcover
This was another quick and entertaining read. This instalment wasn't as enjoyable as some of the other books but it was still good. I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Arrakis Brought to Life: A Stunning Visual Gateway into Dune
Format: Hardcover
‘Dune: The Graphic Novel, Book One’ is an outstanding adaptation that captures the scale, tension, and atmosphere of Frank Herbert’s original novel while making the world of Arrakis far easier to visualize. The artwork does an exceptional job translating Herbert’s dense descriptions into vivid imagery—ornithopters slicing through the desert sky, the oppressive vastness of the sands, and the stark contrast between House Atreides and House Harkonnen all feel instantly real and immersive.
What really shines is how the graphic format clarifies complex scenes and political dynamics without oversimplifying them. Key moments that can be challenging to picture in the prose novel become immediately understandable, helping readers grasp both the physical environment and the emotional weight of the story. Paul’s journey, the looming threat on Arrakis, and the undercurrent of destiny are all conveyed with clarity and restraint.
This is an ideal companion for longtime fans who want a richer visual grounding of the story, as well as for newcomers who may find the original novel intimidating. Faithful, beautifully illustrated, and thoughtfully paced, ‘Dune: The Graphic Novel, Book One’ enhances the experience of Herbert’s masterpiece rather than replacing it and it leaves you eager for the next volume.

A good rendering of the source material.
Format: Hardcover
I was fifteen the first time I read Frank Herbert’s classic, Dune. I was immediately swept away to his universe, and my imagination was immediately fed! Oh, what a diet of sight, sound, color, emotion, politics, warfare, and religion he fed me! The movie of this book (before there was one) unraveled in my mind, and I ingested every moment. It was such a delicious experience that I decided right then and there that I would revisit this wonderful place.
Since that moment in 1981, there have been two movies, a miniseries, a graphic novel, and various other stories, as well as Frank Herbert’s son continuing the series with science Fiction author, Kevin J. Anderson. All of which is good. Please note I said good. With the exception of the continuing series by Herbert and Anderson, the images provided have not really lived up to what my imagination conjured up so long ago (and even now, since I am giving the original a re-read.), but that is not a knock against this book.
Dune: The Graphic Novel is a lovely work of art. The art in it is simple, yet beautiful. Each page was deliciously drawn and colored and added to what my imagination conjured up. The pages are thick in this book, which made me feel like I was skipping ahead, but in reality, I wasn’t. A major plus for this book is that it brought back all of those feeling from when I first read Frank Herbert’s novel.
I am looking forward to getting my hands on volume 2. It is on several wish lists, and my wife knows what a Dune fan I am.
All in all I give this book 4.5 bookmarks out of 5!
