The Ghost in YouOne of my favourite things to do in the print studio is to do a "ghost" print. This typically happens when the print has been pulled once, but there are still remnants of the image in the screen. This particular print is a combination of two of those "ghost" prints, a disparate combination but somehow it works. Pastel hues set off against in pink floral bits of ink. Inspired by the California poppies that I love so much, faded into the background.

Inspired by the California poppies that I love so much, faded into the background. Layered on top with bits of pink, a ghost print as well.

This is a one of a kind monoprint. I create these by painting directly onto a silkscreen, then pulling the squeegee and transfering the image to high quality paper. The marks and imperfections are my favourite part of the process and make each of these unique and one of a kind.
300GSM paper and signed at the bottom right hand side. I work out of a screen print studio in East London called The Print Club.
I do my best to capture the true colors of this original, but please note that colors may appear differently on your screen.
Due to the nature of the painting then the screen print process, there may be slight flaws that are part of the charm of an original, hand made mono print.
