Six Questions Your Comet Cleaners and Laundry Franchise Pitch Deck Must Answer

We built this franchise unit pitch deck in Microsoft PowerPoint using our own deep-dive research into the dry cleaning industry. All slides are pre-populated with data, including a Year 1 revenue target of $800,000 and an EBITDA of $198,000, making it a practical tool for your next lender meeting. Honestly, having these numbers ready to go is the fastest way to learn how to create a franchise investment pitch deck that actually gets a 'yes'.

Why now, and what urgent local customer need does this franchise unit address?

Busy professionals in high-traffic corridors lack the time for traditional laundry errands, creating a massive need for tech-enabled, 24/7 convenience. This unit solves that friction with dual-lane drive-thrus and automated locker systems that fit into a modern schedule.

The Convenience Gap

  • 24/7 smart locker access for drop-offs
  • Dual-lane drive-thru for rapid customer throughput
  • Eco-friendly cleaning solvents for conscious consumers
[dynamic_pic9]

What does this franchise unit offer, and why is its solution meaningfully better than local alternatives?

This unit offers a premium, tech-enabled garment care experience that outpaces local mom-and-pop shops through speed and reliability. By using a proprietary mobile app for real-time tracking, you provide a level of transparency that traditional cleaners simply cannot match.

Superior Service Edge

  • Real-time order tracking via mobile application
  • Specialty fabric care for high-end boutique items
  • Professional brand standards and heritage reliability
[dynamic_pic10]

Who buys from this franchise unit, and how big is the local opportunity?

The target market consists of affluent professionals and corporate clients who prioritize quality and time-savings over the lowest price. With Year 1 revenue projected at $800,000 and growing to $1,610,000 by Year 5, the local density of high-income earners provides a stable, recurring revenue base.

Market Target Segments

  • High-income commuters in business park corridors
  • Luxury apartment residents seeking concierge-level service
  • Corporate headquarters requiring employee perk programs
[dynamic_pic11]

How does this franchise unit make money, and what are the core revenue streams?

Revenue is diversified across retail dry cleaning, laundry services, and high-margin corporate contracts. Here's the quick math: Year 1 dry cleaning alone brings in $280,000, while specialty care adds another $50,000, all operating under a lean 5% royalty fee structure.

Core Income Streams

  • B2C retail dry cleaning and laundry
  • Recurring corporate account contract revenue
  • Premium-priced specialty fabric and boutique care
[dynamic_pic12]

Who are the main local competitors, and what is this franchise unit's defensible edge?

Main competitors are independent local cleaners and wash-and-fold services that lack modern technology and scale. Your edge is the combination of brand heritage and a sustainable dry cleaning business model for investors that emphasizes speed through drive-thru lanes.

Our Defensible Moat

  • High-volume throughput via dual-lane infrastructure
  • Proprietary tech for 24/7 customer self-service
  • Eco-conscious excellence using sustainable cleaning solvents
[dynamic_pic13]

How much funding is required, and what will the funds be used for?

The dry cleaning franchise startup costs breakdown includes a $30,000 franchise fee and $220,000 for leasehold improvements. These funds unlock a path to breakeven by April 2026, just four months after launching operations, with a total payback achieved within five years.

Capital Allocation Plan

  • $130,000 for advanced dry cleaning equipment
  • $70,000 for dual-lane drive-thru construction
  • $45,000 for smart locker system installation

i should have waited for there to be reviews posted
Format: Kindle
I'm being more generous than I should because this is a debut novel i downloaded this book because i like why choose and band romances i figured that it wouldn't take too long to get back to where the prologue was because the prologue seemed to be less than a day before they met the FMC and the MMCs don't meet til 60 % of the way in which for a Romance novel kinda hard for the relationship to develop or for there to be plot beyond them just meeting in a way where the FMC really lacks agency a lot of early plot and character things are forgotten about after they met it's almost as if the last third of the book was written first and then they went back to write backstory separately but forgot there needs to be a plot i get wanting to have background on the characters, but there has to be a way to do it without constant time jumps and no plot progression. Tessa's story jumps around a week lead up so much also the band aspect is very much an afterthought in the novel Spoilers-- one of the MMCs is openly pan and one of them has been dealing with a bi awakening but being somewhat defensive about it and once Tessa arrives that gets forgotten about til the epilogue and even then doesn't actually confront his sexuality the wrap up of the church hiding her name is tied up with a quick sentence, but no real consequences for anyone i honestly thought she forgot about family pack IRS deal until the final chapter and that gets resolved in an unsatisfying way the pack is upset that Tessa gets viewed as an object and tricked into the contract but has no interest in making the company's wrongdoings public or trying to prevent this from happening to other omegas tessa goes over a lot of struggles of homelessness but she only thinks about food waste once after joining the pack -- you'd think she'd use her newfound wealth and power to help other homeless individuals, especially youths and omegas. even a little side note to say that a portion of tour proceeds or her family fortune would go towards public food pantries and shelters would've done something to connect her beginning character to the end character

BORING and too long
Format: Kindle
I could not believe how wordy and boring this book was. No spice at all. Slow burn is really a NO burn. Almost DNF and now I’m sorry I stuck with it. 500 pages could ave been 150 and it would have been more than enough. I highly doubt not recommend this work of yuck.

Still 4 stars
Format: Kindle
A little to much before and to much dive into the days, months before, but I still kept reading. Maybe because of that you could read about them all. I just couldn't put this book in my to read another day list. I just wanted to know what happens to them.

Promising but not without issues
Format: Kindle
First off, the FMC and the pack don't meet until about 60% of the way through. That's just way too late honestly. I can appreciate the backstory of the band and the FMC, but I skimmed at times wondering when they'd meet. I did like the writing and premise but I thought the execution needed a lot of work. The characters were pretty well developed, but they didn't spend that much time on the page together, so I thought that led to the story suffering. I will give her another shot, as I think the writing has promise... It just didn't come all together in a way that I could wholeheartedly recommend.
