BD's roots, however, actually date back to 1972, when Valley Fuel Injection, Ltd. first opened its doors. Today, Valley Fuel Injection and BD Diesel Performance are one, with eight specialty divisions that focus on diesel power train components: Fuel Injection Calibration Department, Exhaust Brake Manufacturing, Electronic Circuit Design and Assembly, Transmission and Torque Converter Design and Remanufacturing, Turbocharger Design, Installation and Research and Development. Not sure if these are truely 14 guage.

I think that the wire is good quality, but I wound up using some wire that I already had after stripping some of this back and then comparing it with my old 14 gauge wire. I did not get out a caliper and measure it, but by feel and visual comparison it did not seem to be as heavy as my old wire.
