The Dinan/Brembo rear brakes offer the ultimate in stopping power for the most demanding driving enthusiast. Extensive testing on the street and at the track has enabled us to develop custom systems that have been tuned for optimum performance while avoiding the foibles of typical "big brake kits," such as unbalanced proportioning, poor pedal feel and unacceptable noise levels, just to name a few. The brake calipers are available in either red or black, giving you the choice of a stealth or competition look.
Dinan's custom brake pads and kits have been specially designed for use with the BMW brake wear sensors to keep the safety system fully functional something that is lost in competitors kits.
In most cases the large rotors and calipers will require the use of aftermarket wheels for adequate brake clearance. Most of Dinan's lightweight performance wheels are recommended providing proper clearance and the ability to fit the largest tires possible for optimum performance. Be sure to check with the manufacturer or distributor of the wheels you are considering in order to verify that they offer the necessary clearance citing the Brembo "Gran Turismo" brakes as a reference.

The screws are the best part

OK. So I spend a lot on (and I mean A LOT) on Amazon and I never write reviews. Just not my thing. But I had to write a review for this product. These brackets are fantastic - attractive, sturdy. But what threw me was the screws - they are SUCH high quality. They don't strip or lose their black color at all even when your drill, set to 0 slip, loses grip repeatedly because you drilled the pilot hole too small and are throwing every ounce of your body weight against it to get it to drive. And they give you extra! Like, enough to mount 8.5 brackets in a 6-bracket box. I am saving alllllll of these extra screws; if I could buy them separate I would. It might seem like a small thing but hardware is usually a place companies skimp on HARD, and to be confronted with such quality was truly a breath of fresh air.
The brackets take some mounting expertise to ensure everything is true - lots of measuring and leveling (some minor differences in angle + or - a couple degrees, but they're SOLID. I will be buying these again in the future. Kudos for an awesome product.
