Do you know what your doctor really thinks or how your doctor really feels about medicine and about you? The seeds lie in the critical first few years of a medical education, and Dr. Robert Marion, director of the Center for Congenital Disorders at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, draws from his own experiences as student, intern, and resident to provide some surprising -- and sobering -- answers. In the course of twenty gripping, illuminating, and extraordinarily candid stories, Dr. Marion reveals the dehumanizing, slightly insane, and often brutal process of medical training. You will experience not only the intense pressure and chronic exhaustion of the doctor-to-be, but also the price the patient must often pay. While each story stands alone as an adventure in medicine, taken together they are a call to change. With profound eloquence and compassion, Dr. Marion explores ways in which to assure that humanity and idealism survive the grueling and destructive path to technical competency.Binding Type: Paperback

Not for my kids
Scary ball to my dogs. The power button is inside so you have to unscrew it, turn it on & screw it back together before it starts moving. It's not easy. It's harder than a rubber ball so I think it would be sturdy. It might work for some dogs, but mine ran for the hills!

High Priced Junk ! Don’t Purchase !!
Color: Blue
This is junk !!! Had it about 10 minutes till it stopped working !!!! Made cheap ! When my dog picked it up and dropped it from about 8-10 inches from the floor, it splits apart and kept doing that ! Also the inside part stopped working after the 1st time ! Warning ! This is very cheaply made ! For the price I thought it would be a good product. This proved me wrong !

Pup loves this!
Size: 6 Inch, Color: Red
This soccer ball is so cute. My dog loves to play with these. The straps are durable, easy to pump up (they come with a pump), good value for the money since they tend to last awhile, at least for us. The straps are durable but could be an issue if your dog is an aggressive chewer. They stay pumped up for quite awhile and just need to be topped off once in awhile to keep the bounce there. We keep them outside even in the winter and they do just fine. HIghly recommend as a good play toy.
