The Eaton HMCPE050K2C is a 3-pole, 50 Amp Series C Motor Circuit Protector (MCP) designed specifically for motor branch circuit protection. Unlike a standard thermal-magnetic breaker, this unit provides instantaneous-only magnetic protection, allowing it to distinguish between normal motor inrush currents and actual fault conditions.

This MCP is part of the Series C, F-Frame family and is engineered for use in motor starter applications where it works in tandem with an overload relay to provide complete motor protection. It features an adjustable magnetic trip setting ranging from 150 to 500 Amps, allowing users to fine-tune the protection based on the specific Full Load Amps (FLA) of the motor.
