Polygonatum biflorum ~ Solomon's SealSolomons Seal is a native herbaceous perennial with an upright arching habit and large alternating leaves with noticeable veining that turn an attractive yellow in fall. Clusters of small bell shaped white flowers dangle from the leave axils in spring are followed by blue black fruit seeds. Best grown in part shade and rich moist well drained soils. While the berries are poisonous, the roots and young shoots are edible after boiling. Type: Perennial

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance.  Water regularly. No serious pests or diseases.
