To compete with today's increasing globalization and rapidly evolving technologies, individuals and organizations must take their ability to learn--the foundation for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation--to a much higher level. In Learn or Die, Edward D. Hess combines recent advances in neuroscience, psychology, behavioral economics, and education with key research on high-performance businesses to create an actionable blueprint for becoming a leading-edge learning organization. Learn or Die examines the process of learning from an individual and an organizational standpoint. From an individual perspective, the book discusses the cognitive, emotional, motivational, attitudinal, and behavioral factors that promote better learning. Organizationally, Learn or Die focuses on the kinds of structures, culture, leadership, employee learning behaviors, and human resource policies that are necessary to create an environment that enables critical and innovative thinking, learning conversations, and collaboration. The volume also provides strategies to mitigate the reality that humans can be reflexive, lazy thinkers who seek confirmation of what they believe to be true and affirmation of their self-image. Exemplar learning organizations discussed include the secretive Bridgewater Associates, LP; Intuit, Inc.; United Parcel Service (UPS); W. L. Gore & Associates; and IDEO.Binding Type: Hardcover

1 yr review of buying a used RX-V6A
Style: Receiver
GOAT amplifier for a 7.2CH amp for such good price!
Got it for even cheaper because I bought it used. Apparently was a demo unit at an expo.
The amp is notorious for blowing up the HDMI passthrough chip but it did not happen to me. It supports HDMI 2.1 with ease!
Very sharp and sophisticated amp with not a lot of buttons. Most of it can be controlled by a remote or with an app, which is easy to setup. If not, follow the manual.
Decent power too. 100W/channel. Enough to drive my Klipsch bi-amping Dolby Atmos Speakers. Drives them with ease.
This is a 1 yr review. And despite owning a used product, which was on an expo (assuming it was used heavily), the amp is running strong after much usage even a year later. Has all it's functionality intact.
Best 7.2 CH amp ever. Yamaha YPAO really makes the effort of speaker tuning easy too.

RX-V6A
Style: Receiver
The biggest problem I have found is the tiny screen. Otherwise it is a solid AV receiver for any small to medium sized room.

Plug n play with PS5
Style: Receiver
Pros:
huge sound
PS5, receiver, and LG tv can all be turned on simultaneously with one remote
No settings to dial in, to make, just sounds good out of the box
Cons:
Should have bought this sooner

Stops working after it heats up
Style: Receiver
This unit can’t stay running for any period longer than 5 hours. The components start to heat up and the sound goes out completely. The audio will only return after the unit has been turned off and cooled. A complete waste of money.
