Made with- sustainably harvested cork from Portugal with a natural grounding Tree Rubber base that is SGS and FSC certified. Cork bark is gathered without the cutting down of any trees in the process. Cork is harvested by stripping the bark of the Cork Oak Tree and as the tree regrows it's bark absorbs up to 3 times more C02 from the air and continues to grow unaffected by this process. Cork is a non- toxic substance and hypoallergenic for sensitive skin. 

Grip- Cork is a wonderful option for gentle yoga, meditation, stretching and high intensity or hot yoga practices. Many materials become slippery with moisture, where cork works the opposite. As cork is exposed to moisture, it naturally releases a slightly waxy compound called Suberin. Your cork mat will actually become more grippy as it is get's wetter. We want you to feel firmly rooted in your practice without the distraction of losing focus and balance with a slippery mat. 

Texture- Our cork mats are incredibly soft to the touch, while remaining especially durable and strong. 

Antimicrobial- Cork has natural antimicrobial properties which eliminates odors and kills fungus and bacteria. This means your mat will not obtain unwanted odors. 

Art- This Mat has been carefully printed using highly durable state-of-the-art UV printing that flexes as you move and roll the mat.

Specs- 72inches X 26 inches and a super cushioned 5 mm thick. Approximately 7 pounds. 

Care Instructions- Always roll cork/design side out. When you first receive your mat, unroll it and allow the mat to breathe. Avoid long exposure to direct sunlight, as this could cause slight fading to the material. After a sweaty session, lay or hang mat to become fully dry before rolling.
