The Bovine Beta-LG (beta-lactoglobulin) ELISA kit measures Beta-LG in Bovine Serum, Plasma, Cell Culture Supernatant, Cell or Tissue Lysate. This kit is based on Competitive-ELISA detection method and takes 1h assay time. The microplate provided in this kit has been precoated with anti Beta-LG antibody. Sample or standard completely mixes with fixed amount of HRP labeled Beta-LG working solution and also add into each well. Beta-LG in the sample or standard competes with biotin-labeled Beta-LG to bind with antibody precoated on the microplate. Free components are washed off. Add TMB substrate solution. Then, TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that turned yellow after adding a stop solution. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader. Compare OD450 value of sample with the standard curve through curve fitting software to determine the concentration of Beta-LG in the sample. The concentration of the target substance is inversely proportional to the OD450 value.

The sheepskin was advertised as being"not white" online, and the company made very sure to state that the fur has an "off white/yellow" color. I actually purchased another brand to see if I could distinguish the difference between the two. This particular sheepskin is by far the better of the two purchases. FYI: When the package was opened, there was no distinct odor. That's a huge plus! I will admit that the size was slightly smaller than expected. It really doesn't matter much in the space I'm using it for though. My miniature Dachshund loves it! If you're trying to find a high quality sheepskin, and you don't need to cover a very large space, this is definitely the one to buy!
