This book is the triumphant and moving story of Sarah Winnemucca (1844-91), one of the most influential and charismatic Native women in American history. Born into a legendary family of Paiute leaders in western Nevada, Sarah dedicated much of her life to working for her people. She played an instrumental and controversial role as interpreter and messenger for the U.S. Army during the Bannock War of 1878 and traveled to Washington in 1880 to obtain the release of her people from confinement on the Yakama Reservation. She toured the East Coast in the 1880s, tirelessly giving speeches about the plight of her people and heavily criticizing the reservation system. In 1883 she produced her autobiography--the first written by a Native woman--and founded a Native school whose educational practices were far ahead of its time. Sally Zanjani also reveals Sarah's notorious sharp tongue and wit, her love of performance, her string of failed relationships, and at the end, possible poisoning by a romantic rival.Binding Type: Paperback

A waste
Color: White/Silver-Tone/Digital
If I could I would give it zero stars. It was running when I received it so who knows how long the battery has left. No instructions were included.
The setup is impossible unless you’re into computerized “smart” crap. I looked up how to do that and it’s way too involved for a watch to tell me what the time is. I don’t want a personal dictator, I just wanted a watch I could wear and know what time it is.
Too much hassle to return. It’s going in the trash. Total waste of time energy and money. Zero stars.

Favorite Watch
Color: Black/Silver-Tone/Digital, Color: Black/Silver-Tone/Digital
I have been using this same kind of watch for 10+ years. I like the belt like strap and the small size. I also appreciate how it has a light on it, the date, and the stop watch. I haven’t had any issues with the battery. These watches have held up well for me although I try to avoid getting them wet. The buttons are hard to press when you first get them but get a little easier to press over time. I still have issues remembering how to change the time and typically have to look up how. The silver parts on the front do wear out over time and turn copper colored. I wore one of these watches for around 5 years before buying a new one when the band which holds the excess space from the band broke. Attached is a picture of the watch that I wore for at least 5 years and a brand new one that I bought.

Perfect for School
Color: Blue/Silver-Tone/Digital
Purchased as a for a middle schooler who isn’t allowed any electronics at school during school hours. Helps keep her on task without breaking the smart device policies. Perfect “old school” way to work.

hard to read display, no manual included.
Color: Black/Black/Digital
I haven't decided yet whether or not I will keep the watch. Problem is there is no instruction manual attached and you cannot find one online. However if you call Timex support they will email you the manual if you give them the model number which is included in Amazon's product description. However even with the manual watch is very hard to set. It lacks some functions normally Timex has like time can only be set up there is no down button. And most importantly display is minuscule. So it is really hard to read to set. Watch is a ladies watch. It is small and I like it a lot. But buttons are hard to operate and it is hard to read.
