They were printed as a souvenir poker deck for the Iceberg Ball of october 13th 1923 in both German and English editions by the Royal Excavation Corps to commemorate the iceberg city state that beached close to Lubeck during the time of the great inflation. They are extremely rare,there are only 17 handcolored complete decks known, and this is an accurate fascimile of one of the finest.
