Between the years of 1869 to 1939 more than 100,000 poor British children were sent across the ocean to Canada with the promise of a better life. Those who took them in to work as farm laborers or household servants were told they were orphans--but was that the truth? After the tragic loss of their father, the McAlister family is living at the edge of the poorhouse in London in 1908, leaving their mother to scrape by for her three younger children, while oldest daughter, Laura, works on a large estate more than an hour away. When Edna McAlister falls gravely ill and is hospitalized, twins Katie and Garth and eight-year-old Grace are forced into an orphans' home before Laura is notified about her family's unfortunate turn of events in London. With hundreds of British children sent on ships to Canada, whether truly orphans or not, Laura knows she must act quickly. But finding her siblings and taking care of her family may cost her everything. Andrew Fraser, a wealthy young British lawyer and heir to the estate where Laura is in service, discovers that this common practice of finding new homes for penniless children might not be all that it seems. Together Laura and Andrew form an unlikely partnership. Will they arrive in time? Will their friendship blossom into something more? Inspired by true events, this moving novel follows Laura as she seeks to reunite her family and her siblings who, in their darkest hours, must cling to the words from Isaiah: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God."Binding Type: Paperback

Tall lost Tail
Simba went fishing for a good time, but it looks like the fish toy got hooked on destruction instead - gone in 20 minutes!

Nice toy, but maybe not so durable
This is our second one of these, which really speaks to how much my dog loves it… it’s cute and just the right size for my Vizsla. She absolutely loves playing with it… it’s chewable and has a nice squeaker, but I’m not so sure of its durability. Our first one lasted about a month, and this one just a couple of weeks. The stitching at the tip seems to give away first, then the find. Sadly, you gotta throw it away when you see the first signs of the stuffing.

Easily torn apart but still fun
Color: Orange+Green
This is not the toy for your dog is they like to rip them apart. That being, my sister’s dog loved these as his gift. He did tear them apart pretty easily but he enjoyed every moment of it and they were his comfort toy for at least 3 months. The colors are great, the size is perfect for tug-o-war and tossing around. The squeaking noise is loud and grab the dog’s attention easily. My sister’s dog is a corgi mix so he went ham on playing with these.

Will buy again!!!
Color: Blue+Purple
I bought a set of these toys for my 30 lb black labs (mixed breed). They are normally very aggressive chewers, and as a result, these dogs are difficult to find toys for. They destroy pretty much everything except for those very strong rubber toys which are not as much fun for them to play with. So far, these toys have lasted us 2 days and counting which is quite an accomplishment considering their soft toys typically last about 10 min. or so before they start eating the stuffing and pull the squeakers out. Between the plastic noises from the tenticles and the squeakers my dogs have just been having the time of their lives. We have to confiscate them at bedtime so we can sleep! Even though I'm positive these toys will not hold up for much longer because of their chewing habits, it was worth the money to splurge on something fun for them to get so excited to play with. I intend to replace them occasionally as long as we continue getting at least a couple days of use out of them. If your dogs are less aggressive chewers then you should definitely give this toy a try!
