Fin Pottery Tools 'River Rock' Rounded Triangular Oval Pottery Form - Large

Rounded triangular oval pottery form/drape mould with soft roundover edge. Available in two sizes and designed so you can nest the smaller size within the larger size (this goes for all products in the Nature collection, so you can mix and match).

The Nature collection is inspired by the beautifully asymmetrical, organic shapes found in nature — from river stones and pebbles, to moon phases and natural rock arches.

Each form contains a threaded metal insert in order to attach the Base/Handle (sold separately).

Features
Dimensions: 33cm long and 23cm wide, for crafting large platters and dishes.
Thickness: 1.6cm thick, ensuring stability and durability during the pottery-making process.
Roundover Edge: The rounded edge design allows for smoother finishes and aesthetically pleasing curves.
Material: Constructed from high-quality MDF, guaranteeing longevity and resilience.
Craftsmanship: Each form is machine-made and hand-finished in Australia, ensuring precision and quality.

Benefits
Compatibility: Designed to work with the Pottery Foam press method for consistent and efficient results.
Versatile Use: Ideal for crafting a range of pottery pieces in organic forms.
Local Production: Proudly supporting Australian craftsmanship and manufacturing.

Fin Pottery Tools are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit all your pottery needs. Ideal for both professional potters and hobbyists looking to elevate their craft.

How to look after your Fin Pottery Tools pottery forms:

Cleaning: Wipe clean with damp cloth/sponge when required. Let dry in between uses. Do not submerge or wet the form/moulds. The forms are moisture resistant but not waterproof.

Storage: Ideally store forms flat when not in use to avoid damaging the rim profile (this is particularly important for the bevelled edge forms). Avoid storing heavy items on top of the form that could dent or deform the form.

General care: Avoid using cutting tools on the form other than when trimming excess clay. Minor dents and scratches can be smoothed with 120g–240g sandpaper.

inexpensive usb3.1 gen 2 hub with PD
This USB3.1 gen 2 hub is well made, featuring VIA Labs controller (device id 2109:2822) and is made in China. It looks nice and performs according to the specs. I wish usb-c socket supported TB3/Alt DP cable to connect a display to it, but it is apparently made mainly for power delivery. I think the hub is a good value.

premium feel in the hand.
Can't really say whether it's that good or not elecronics wise since I didn't test it but it works like it's supposed to. Meanwhile, the housing oh man. It's premium. It feels like hard aluminum or something, very nice. Edges are rounded too with just the right sharpness like a macbook. Others would've been plastic. This is really nice for the price and if the specs really are 10Gbps, that's really good because most in this price range is 5Gbps.

Failed to support desktop PCs with USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports
Does not work with my HP mini PC with USB 3.2 gen 2 ports - when connecting USB portable SSDs to the hub. You won't believe it, but many USB 3.2 Gen 2 hubs only support laptops not desktop PCs (except hubs that have dedicated power supply for higher power USB devices e.g. SSD/HDDs) when connecting USB portable SSDs to the hub. We need a major fix from many of the USB hub vendors so these products can work with desktop PCs that have USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. Workaround: Just directly connect the USB portable SSD to the PC instead. If you need more USB ports, pick up a good old USB 3.0 hub. They're working correctly with portable USB SSDs when working with desktop PCs. (You'd need a powered USB hub if you're connecting 2 or more portable SSDs - do your own calculation: 5V - 1A per SSD/HDD).
