One port cover on the side stays open, very common defect on the RX100 II. A small piece of tape can be used to lock it firmly, or ti can be removed.

Image processing is handled by the BIONZ processor, supporting RAW + JPEG capture, ISO up to 12800, and high-speed continuous shooting up to 10 fps. The RX100 II includes Full HD 1080p video recording at multiple frame rates, with stereo sound and manual exposure options during video capture.
The RX100 II supports Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity for wireless image transfer and remote camera control via smartphone. It features full manual exposure controls, focus peaking for manual focus, and a metal body that maintains compact dimensions while offering a solid feel.
