Double vinyl LP pressing. 2019 collection. It wasn't really a movement, barely even a moment, but the Daisy Age was an ethos that permeated pop, R&B and hip hop at the turn of the '90s. Playfulness and good humor were central to de la Soul's 1989 debut album, 3 Feet High And Rising, which would go on to cast a long, multi-colored shadow over rap. In Britain, the timing for 3 Feet High And Rising couldn't have been better. The acid house explosion of 1988 would lead to a radical breaking down of musical barriers in 1989, and it's associated look - loose clothing, dayglo colors, smiley faces - chimed with the positivity of de la Soul and rising New York rap acts the Jungle Brothers and A Tribe Called Quest, all at the heart of a growing collective called Native Tongues. The Native Tongues' charismatic, summery aura quickly spread west to the Bay Area's similarly-minded Hieroglyphics crew (Del Tha Funky Homosapien's 'Mistadobalina'); Canada's Dream Warriors ('My Definition Of A Boombastic Jazz Style') used 3 Feet High"s color palette and borrowed Count Basie and Quincy Jones riffs; Naughty By Nature (OPP) were mentored by Native Tongues heroine Queen Latifah, while Londoner Monie Love was also adopted by the collective, resulting in her Grammy-nominated 'It's A Shame (My Sister)'. It wasn't built to last, but the Daisy Age reintroduced Multiplication Rock, bubble writing and the gently psychedelic into the charts. It was a brief, but extraordinarily warm and optimistic moment. The songs on this collection promised that the '90s would be a lot more easy-going than the '80s.

Good Long Lasting Filters

I've been using Brita pitchers for years and these replacement filters continue to be one of the easiest and most affordable ways to improve the taste of regular tap water without installing a full filtration system. The biggest improvement is definitely the taste. After installing a fresh filter, the water tastes noticeably cleaner and smoother, getting rid of that strong chlorine smell or metallic aftertaste. These standard filters reduce chlorine taste and odor along with impurities like copper, cadmium, and mercury using activated carbon and ion-exchange resin technology. They're also BPA-free and designed to last up to 40 gallons or about two months per filter.
The installation is simple and quick compared to older filter designs. I liked that these no longer require lengthy presoaking and the pull-top cap makes removal easier when it's time to swap filters. The 4 pack is also convenient because it lasts several months for an average household, making it more economical than constantly buying bottled water. My only complaint is that sometimes the water will run through very quickly and other times not so much which makes it harder to discern whether the filter is working effectively. Aside from tha, it seems like a simple and affordable everyday water filter.

Water Comes Out Clean and Tastes Good!

I had a Brita filter while I was in college, and so naturally, I needed to buy the water filter replacements on occasion. These are the original ones from Brita, and they work as well as you would expect! They purify the water you pour into the pitcher, and it tastes good (at least in my opinion)! They feel pretty well made, and I haven't had any issues where the water has come out tasting gross or it getting clogged. It works well, and fits nicely into my pitcher. I've heard others face issues with third-party water filters, so it feels nice to buy the original ones and for them to work without issue.
