Senecio peregrinus, commonly known as String of Dolphins, is a trailing succulent houseplant loved for its tiny dolphin-shaped leaves that appear to leap along long, cascading stems. Cute but not always the easiest, this plant is best for bright spots and careful waterers. It looks brilliant trailing from a shelf, hanging pot, or small planter where its unusual foliage can really show off.

Plant Care 

Light: Bright light, but try to keep it out of the direct sun, or it will scorch. My rule with this plant is to place it where it has a view of the sky.

Watering: About every two weeks is good. Bottom watering is ideal for this plant.

Temperature: 15-29°C is ideal for these strings of things, but make sure not to let it dip below 10°C for too long or you may start losing the lovely little pearls.

Potting: Drainage is key here, so a succulent mix is a good choice for this. Our Savvy Succa is a great fit for this plant. 

Hot tips: This plant is easy to propagate! Just coil a string on some soil making sure the nodes touch the earth and you have a new string of pearls!
