The Lovely Eggs are one of the most unique, innovative and genuine bands on the British Underground music scene. Heavier and more in-your-face than anything they've done previously, married couple Holly Ross (guitar/vocals) and David Blackwell (drums) bring together a fierce DIY ethos, surreal sense of humour and kitchen-sink realism. Working with a producer for the very first time, Dave Fridmann (Mercury Rev, The Flaming Lips) lends his magic dust to bring out the best of The Lovely Eggs' explosive blend of motoric krautrock, 60s psychedelia and punk rock attitude, all flipped over and egged up. After drawing up a drunken list of dream producers they wanted to work with, Fridmann was at the top. So began a piece of detective work to find a number for his studio (and after a couple of wrong numbers), they finally left a message on his answer machine. As Holly explains; "I just put it down as another madcap idea to go down in our catalogue of drunken escapades. But one year later we received an email from Dave Fridmann. He had got the answerphone message, listened to our stuff and wanted to work with us. It was just totally bizarre!"The result is a gratifyingly rich sounding record, which still retains the raw energy of the band's sound but harnesses a real power and dynamism. It's much heavier than anything they've done before. As Holly says: "It's pretty relentless.. So pretty and functional!

This cart arrived promptly and was easy to put together for me! I love the 2 mirror shelves, which I had specifically searched for. Usually the shelves on these bar carts are just glass and not mirrored, which means you see right through to the next level, which is wine bottles and the floor. I thought the mirrored shelves reflecting back just what’s placed on it looks so much more elegant. I also like the gold color, but just so you know, it is not the jewelry gold color, but more of a matte metallic taupey-gold (hard to describe). The color is pretty, but not the shiny, yellowish gold color that it appears to be on this seller’s pictures. I added another gold tabletop wine holder (also from Amazon) on the lower shelf and you can see what I mean by the color. Overall, I am pleased with the price, elegant look, easy assembly, the maneuverability, and how much it holds.

Sturdy, smaller sized supply caddy-well crafted.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Started out asking friends what they use for a cart - to clear stuff off their drawing boards, desks, etc. I've got an unusual amount of "things" in my workspace, and although I keep paints in a separate caddy to one side on my drafting table, the topside clutter was getting unbearable. Due to people giving me things, my interest in a few crafts, and just junk. Mainly I use the my wonderful, old, 1950s school cast-off - drafting table for painting - as it tilts and I have an edge on it. I've been wanting to also replace the top board, too. The usual caddies didn't appeal to me - the plastic ones annoy me as I can't see in the bins at what I should easily be able to reach and cannot see-though the opaque plastic. As I purged the clutter I realized I needed way less than I had and that's how I determined the size of the rolling cart. I use my spare garage and I have a lot of space, but that's the kicker - the more space you have the more things you could have, too. That's my reasoning for choosing a smaller cart. Narrow, to keep it minimal. Black metal to hide dirt. Wheels? a bonus - I'll just pull it back and forth out of its space--it's not going to be a trolley. I picked this one out of several because of price, and size, but I may come back at another time to purchase a larger one for the coat closet - mittens & hats & ski goggles & stuff. I am going to look at the same brand, but I'm also going to choose one with sturdier wheels. THIS CART was easy to put together, no issues at all. I didn't time myself - it took a while - under an hour is my best guess due to all the small pieces. I know it was manufactured this way to be able to fit it in as small a space-box for shipping, as possible. It was tedious, but certainly not an issue. Just lay it out the way the diagrams show you - they are perfectly done. It's sturdy enough as a supply caddy - you can't sit on the thing, or let kids romp on it but it's stiff in all the right places and the handle is perfectly placed. The top of it will hold my tablet or phone - next to my table; it's not a decor piece, but the black finish does look rather nice -with the faux wood/wood laminate top. Basket depth is well thought out, too. Coffee cans with paint brushes, some other tools, but the best part is no more clutter taking up space on top of my drafting table and I can actually use it the way it was intended!
