The Ultimate Guitar Pentatonic Scales Book (Volume One)

Learn how to form pentatonic sequences used by hundreds of famous artists such as Joe Bonamassa, Jimmy Page, Slash, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Peter Green, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Vai and many more.

This book series helps guitar players develop basic to more advanced playing concepts with the major and minor pentatonic scales that can be applied to improvisation or compositional playing, giving you the tools to create your own epic pentatonic sequences. Starting with basic guitar theory, you then move through to useful movable shapes, connecting chords and arpeggios and ways to sequence the 2NPS (two note per string) shapes vertically, horizontally and diagonally.

Beginner Players - if you are new to the pentatonic scale this is the perfect book for you! You do need to be able to play basic open chords, simple riffs and have some experience of playing simple lead parts to get the most from this book. However, there are links to beginner video masterclasses in the book (free) if you are stuck with anything such as reading tabs/diagrams, holding a pick, basic music theory...etc.

Intermediate Players - maybe you know a few pentatonic shapes and can play some licks but find yourself stuck in shape one of the pentatonic scales or play the same licks and want to break out of the boxes...this is the book for you! Or maybe you know all the five 2NPS pentatonic shapes for both the major and minor pentatonic scale but you want to understand the theory side of it, then this is the book for you!

Advanced Players - maybe you are a more advanced player who can quite easily play vertically, horizontally and diagonally with all five 2NPS shapes, understands how to connect arpeggios and chords to the five shapes, understands all the music theory behind creating scales, and can sequence the 2NPS shapes in over 35 different ways...then volume one is not the book for you! Check out the more advanced book volume two, this looks at lots of 3NPS pentatonic concepts and more advanced arpeggio ideas.

VOLUME ONE

The idea of volume one is that by the end of it you wonÕt just be playing up and down the five 2NPS pentatonic boxes aimlessly. You should have developed a musical purpose and understand the importance of knowing the intervals, where the root notes are and how to move around the guitar neck freely in any key you desire.

Vertical, Horizontal & Diagonal pentatonic concepts (break out of the boxes)

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons. A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good. B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy. Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”?? Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer. Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward. Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.
