We have carefully cleaned and polished the chest with natural beeswax to revive its lustre while preserving its original finish. Light, superficial marks consistent with age remain, but nothing that detracts from its overall presentation. The piece is sturdy, solid, and ready for decades of continued use. The Maple maker’s mark is present inside one of the drawers.
