Luke Smithfield has taken over the family pub and seizes the opportunity to update the menu. But his garnished ideas may be too gourmet to draw in the locals and he longs to make his dad proud. When Grace White shares his enthusiasm for the menu change, Luke doesn’t hesitate in enlisting her help. He needs a taste tester, and his sister’s best friend has become too pretty to ignore.

Rachel grew up in Mackay and spent many summers in the Whitsundays snorkelling the reef and enjoying the pleasures of Hamilton and Long Island. She currently lives in Townsville with her border collie, Jacob, where she helps people live their best lives as an exercise physiologist.
In her spare time, she is either reading on the treadmill or plotting out her next novel while grooving at Zumba. Rachel is a keen traveller and has enjoyed many holidays exploring historic London, flying through the Grand Canyon, and hiking volcanos in Bali.
