Vinyl LP pressing. Furnace, is a highly revealing and deeply personal offering from accomplished singer/songwriter Dave Simonett, who performs under the pseudonym Dead Man Winter. Widely known as the lead vocalist and songwriter for the acclaimed band Trampled By Turtles, Simonett has touched legions of fans with his thoughtful lyrics and warm tenor. However, the Minnesota native had some recent life-altering experiences to contend with and realized that he had to utilize a completely different vessel to do so. After 14 years of leading the successful progressive bluegrass outfit, Simonett chose to put the band on hold, and for the first time, dedicate an entire album to one topic. The 10 songs that comprise Furnace reflect a man coming to terms with a painful divorce and the heartbreaking separation from his two children. While Simonett did not initially set out to chronicle these experiences, the process proved to be cathartic and highly therapeutic. The songwriter spent time in a cabin during the 20-below Minnesota winter and just wrote. The pent up emotions poured out of him and into songs such as the haunting "This House Is On Fire," the reflective Byrds-styled "Destroyer" and the rollicking confessional "Am I Breaking Down," to name a few.

Great product that makes edging very fast
Size: 8" Edger New
Edging was quite a job because I had to do it with a hand tool. I have quite a few Greenwork tools, so I decided to purchase the edger. It works great and I am in general happy with it. The three downsides for me are that tool is quite heavy when it also has the battery in it, that the metal blade decreases in size rapidly because of the friction when edging near concrete, and that the wheel is in such a position that I have to bend substantially while the blade does not edge deep enough so that I have to lean the tool on the metal strip at the bottom of the tool.

Plenty of power. Easy to use.

I was amazed at the power of this edger. Due to health issues we couldn’t give our lawn adequate attention. It hadn’t been edged in over a year. This edger cut thru the heavy overgrown grass. Maintaining the edging now is a breeze. It uses the same 80 volt battery as my blower👍. The only negative is there is no edge guide, but once I got used to it, it’s not really needed.

Uses same battery as the rest of my equipment
Size: 8" Edger New
Since I already have and like the Greenworks mower, string trimmer and blower it only made sense to get the edger. Even better that I didn’t need to buy more batteries. I tried another name brand electric edger and returned it for not holding a charge. This one works great! There’s charge left in the battery after everything has been edged. I was concerned how easy it would be to control but fell in love with it first time I used it. To use just pop the battery in, flip the thumb lever, squeeze and edge. Not as noisy as gas powered equipment and no cords to pull. Feels sturdy in my hands and a good weight that’s enough to not pop up if it hits something but not too much to be heavy to carry back to the shed.
