This Limited Edition print forms part of a collaboration between the Whitworth and award winning charity Venture Arts in Hulme. Venture Arts support people with learning disabilities to reach their full potential through visual arts and culture. 

Artist Michael Beard works across various disciplines including painting, drawing and ceramics. His artwork enables him to articulate his immense passion for travel. Compulsive writings of names of cities, famous towers and graphical signage and symbols that he identifies in each location, are strong themes in his work. The repetitive overlapping and fluidity of his handwriting conveys Michael's vigorous energy and speed in which he creates his work. 

Giclée print on 300gsm Monte Carlo mould-made cotton rag paper. Paper size 420 x 297mm (A3). Limited Edition of 50,  each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Printed by by King&Mcgaw, who are leading experts in fine art print publishing based in Sussex.

The Whitworth is proud to collaborate with Venture Arts on this collection and will be giving 50% of print profits to the artist and organisation to support their vital work.
