Fresh from an US tour in autumn 2018, the London jangle pop group led by James Hoare (also of Ultimate Painting/Veronica Falls) and Max Claps (Toy) went into James' home studio in Finsbury Park, London and made their finest recordings to date on a newly-installed 16 track Studer machine - joined by Danny Nellis (Charles Howl) on bass and Bobby Syme (Wesley Gonzalez) on drums. Having escaped deep, twisting tunnels of illness, divorce and drug abuse to release their second record in January 2017, it's unsurprising they sound sunnier this time around. What their supremely melodic work suggests is a nonchalance or naivety but is in fact an expensively-bought slice of coherence and clarity within a constantly shifting backdrop to their lives and landscapes. The band exists as an unassuming and resilient organism in a fiercely competitive, trashed environmental niche. Throughout their years of hard-edged music industry Darwinism, they've shown longevity and growth scuttling from the wreckage of their previous guitar bands to become one united organism. "We started writing new songs in the summer. I was in bed recovering from hepatitis and very broken and tired so couldn't do anything else apart from playing guitar," says Max, "and the songs slowly started to appear. In August we realized we had five new songs each and free time, so we decided to record them. The actual recording only took two weeks and it was considerably easier than our previous recordings." The speed with which 6 Lenins was made suggests the two songwriters managed to keep a keen focus on what they wanted to achieve, further finessing the balance of conflict and collaboration that lends their sweet, succinct tunes their nervous energy; this is well-crafted songwriting and controlled sonics despite a zealous analog sensibility. The opener "Apologies", sets out stridently and the mood and momentum, even as one weaves through some more somber moments, never dips before soaring with the Velvets-y propeller riff of live favorite "In the Garden" to end the record.

Solid cabinet; all aligns well

Amazon declined my first buy/ship if this cabinet as it was damaged when it reached Amazon. That was fine, but I still had to go thru ‘return’ process of Amazons, w/o a product to return; so I used their ‘chat feature’ to explain—went smoothly, and they secured the replacement for me; I just need to check latest bill to be sure I was only charged once. OK, now onto the cabinet: Solid materials (for MDF-which I generally avoid), and assembled + installed in just 1hr. Btw, I add ‘glue’ the the provided 8 wood dowels used for assembly. The doors hinge adjustments are easy to align doors for final finish. While this cabinet ‘hangs’ on its cleat, I did add one screw to the inside-bottom of cabinet to ensure no one inadvertently may ‘lift’ the cabinet off its cleat. This is rock solid secured to me wall above toilet for great extra storage in the kids’ bath! Overall, a good buy; but did expect it to be cheaper price considering MDF material and made in China. I look for country of origin now and try to buy from US friendly countries. Good luck, Mark in NY.

Very impressive

I've had a lot of experience with modern furniture that you have to put together. Most of it, I worry about the durability of the product. Most is put together with repurposed particle board. So it's heavy and I would think not durable - especially in a damp environment.
Saying that, I was very impressed with this product.
My experience with the product to this point has been the best of those type of products. It shipped very well...everything in place and neatly packed. The engineered wood (resembles plastic) seems solid, water resistant at a minimum, and scratch resistant. The instructions provided - while the product was easy to assemble - were amongst the clearest I've seen from such a product.
What impressed me the most was the thought behind the design of this product. The hinges are perfect for the product. The doors can be easily removed by pushing a button on the hinge. The holes on the boards were perfectly drilled - so much so that I didn't have to pound any board to put them together. The back wasn't nailed on and the slot used for the backing was spot on.
If I had to choose negatives (and I'm really nit-picking because this is really designed that well) it was that the shelf ends up being a bit loose and I would have liked the mounting board to match the width of the slot it was being used to fill. Both can be fixed at the house by home products and screws.
I was so impressed that I would go and buy another product from this manufacturer (and look for the manufacturer by name). IT is that good.

Great price, very cute
Color: White
I purchased this cabinet for the laundry room. Overall it's a great product, especially for the price. I put it together by myself and it took about 30 minutes. It does come with all the hardware you need to install but I used my own hammer as it got the job done quicker. I would caution that mine came with a lot of sawdust. I ended up using the backboard for a dust collector and then ending up cleaning it at the end before install. The size is great for what I need.
