Losi 1/24 Micro-B 2WD Buggy RTR Overview
Losi introduced its first RC micro vehicle nearly two decades ago. It was easy on the wallet and small enough to carry in a coat pocket. The low cost and convenience — combined with exciting, hobby-quality performance — took the RC industry by storm.
Many hobbyists have fond memories of the Losi micros. They want them back again. You asked and Losi answers with the 1/24 scale, ready-to-run Micro-B 2WD buggy. It's the simplest way yet to share your passion for fast, fun RC racing with friends and family.
Only slightly larger than the original Losi micro, the Micro-B 2WD buggy is even faster and more capable. And you can still run it almost anywhere. The typical living room makes a suitable spot for spur-of-the-moment racing. Low-shag carpeting provides excellent traction for carefree indoor micro competition. You can also race the Micro-B outdoors on driveways and other smooth concrete surfaces.
With its TLR-inspired design, Losi takes the Micro-B to the next level of micro performance. It doesn't just look like the buggy that won the 2023 IFMAR World Championships. It has the goods to back it up. Adjustable and tunable oil-filled shocks optimize handling and soak up bumps and jumps. The black-anodized aluminum chassis is strong, rigid, and an industry first.
The batteries included with most ready-to-run vehicles offer about eight minutes of uninterrupted run time per charge. Losi more than doubles your fun with the Micro-B. Its 350mAh LiPo battery stretches run times to nearly 20 minutes. Then, when it's time for a recharge, the easy-to-use USB-C charger gets it done in less than an hour, compared to the 2-5 hours most standard RTR chargers require.
Longer run times are great. Higher speeds are even better, and the 13+ mph top speed capability of the Losi Micro-B might seem absolutely insane for a buggy of this size. If you're not sure you're ready to handle it, however, think again. The included Spektrum SLT2 transmitter has a switch to cap the speed at 50% or 75% of the maximum until you're ready to unleash it all. This throttle limiting feature is perfect for young or inexperienced drivers.

OIL-FILLED SHOCKS
Losi has taken micros to the next level with the Micro-B. It not only looks like buggy that won the 2023 IFMAR World Championships, but includes oil-filled shocks for optimal handling and jumping during racing. The shocks can be tuned with optional shock fluid and springs and adjusted with the included pre-load clips.
BLACK-ANODIZED ALUMINUM CHASSIS
The Micro-B buggy's next-level aluminum chassis is an RC industry first for micro vehicles. Inspired by the championship-winning TLR racing buggy, the Micro-B chassis includes front caster kick and side bends to create a strong and rigid foundation.
13+ MPH WITH ROOKIE MODE
For a vehicle of its size, the Micro-B's 13+ mph top speed is outrageous! A throttle limiting switch on the back of the SLT2 transmitter lets you put the buggy in “rookie mode,” limiting speeds to 50% or 75% of its full potential — perfect for learning RC control skills gradually and safely. It's great for sharing the fun with younger, less experienced drivers, knowing they'll be able to stay in control.
SPEKTRUM SLT2 2.4GHz RADIO
Race with an unlimited number of other drivers and never worry about signal conflicts, thanks to the interference-resistant 2.4GHz technology of the Spektrum SLT2 radio. Adjustments on the transmitter let you fine-tune steering control to suit your individual racing style.
FULLY PROPORTIONAL ELECTRONICS
The included electronics deliver fully proportional control, which means that your slightest input on the transmitter is immediately reflected in your Micro-B buggy's speed and steering. That responsiveness keeps you 100% in control on the race track.
FULLY READY-TO-RUN
Everything you need to race is included in the box along with your fully assembled and finished Micro-B buggy. No additional items are required. Just read the manual as you charge the battery and you'll be ready to compete in less than an hour.
BATTERY & CHARGER INCLUDED
The 350mAh LiPo battery included with the Micro-B provides over 20 minutes of run time on a full charge — compared to the eight minutes you get with most RTR models. Recharging the battery takes less than an hour using the included .5 amp USB-C charger.
