The Victron BlueSolar MPPT 100/30 is a state-of-the-art solar charge controller designed to intelligently gather the maximum energy from your solar panels and store it efficiently in your batteries. By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar array, its ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology ensures every drop of available power is harvested. This results in an energy harvest improvement of up to 30% compared to PWM controllers and up to 10% over slower MPPT controllers, especially noticeable during cloudy days with changing light intensity.
Advanced Performance in Shaded Conditions
Partial shading can cause conventional MPPT controllers to lock onto a sub-optimal power point, reducing yield. The BlueSolar 100/30 features an innovative algorithm for advanced Maximum Power Point Detection that excels in these conditions. It identifies and locks onto the optimum MPP, ensuring maximum energy harvest even when your panels are partially shaded.
Exceptional Efficiency and Reliability
Engineered for excellence, this controller boasts an outstanding conversion efficiency exceeding 98%, all without a cooling fan for silent operation. It can deliver its full output current in temperatures up to 40°C (104°F). Your system is safeguarded by extensive electronic protections, including over-temperature protection, power derating in high temperatures, PV short circuit protection, and PV reverse polarity/current protection.
Flexible and User-Configurable
The BlueSolar MPPT 100/30 is highly adaptable to your specific needs. It features a fully programmable charge algorithm and comes with eight pre-programmed algorithms that can be easily selected with a rotary switch. An internal temperature sensor automatically compensates absorption and float charge voltages, helping to extend battery life.
Connectivity Options
This controller includes a VE.Direct communication port for connecting to other Victron devices like the ColorControl GX for real-time data display. For wireless monitoring and control via a smartphone, the VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle (sold separately) is required. Please note this model does not have built-in Bluetooth; for that functionality, consider Victron's SmartSolar range.
