The set used was 240g set of Allium Threads four ply Calyx yarn. 

Calyx – Blue Faced Leicester Masham - 50% Blue Faced Leicester, 50% Masham.

Four ply 450m to 100g Approx. 

Blue Faced Leicester is a soft yarn and the Masham lends a depth and subtle marbling to the skeins. The two wools are combined in different proportions to produce an ombre set.

The colour options are natural colours or dyed with cochineal to give pink to lilac to brown colours.

The hat may be knitted on a 3.25mm circular needle or DPNs and the wrist warmers and hat on 3.25mm needles.

It would make a great gift for the knitter in your life. It is packaged an organza bag.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
