The low-binding PTFE membrane is the best option for leachable free filtration. It provides highest chemical compatibility and is suitable for pH values of 1 - 14. For hydrophilic solutions pre-rinsing with a solvent would be necessary to make the hydrophobic membrane permeable for aqueous liquids. Due to the hydrophobic nature Minisart SRP can also be used for sterile venting. The housing of the filter is made of PP (polypropylene) which is compatibility with harsh solvents, acids and bases.
