Mates of State's self-produced 2015 EP, You're Going To Make It, is nothing but choice cuts: five anthemic and emotionally-rich songs that will quickly take up residence in your mental jukebox; five anthemic songs that wriggle into your every waking hour like the earworms they are. This new batch of tunes is Mates of State in its purest form. The razor sharp harmonies, shimmering new wave synth melodies, an internal warmth that can only come from a couple that has been musically and romantically involved for nearly two decades, and lyrics that speak to both personal and universal concerns. On "Beautiful Kids," the band speaks to how, even though we are connected to one another 24/7 thanks to modern technology, a sense of loneliness still pervades. Or as Hammel puts it: "We all just want to be seen, but we won't look up from our screens so that we can be seen." "Gonna Get It" and "I Want To Run" build off the same inspiring notion of the EP's title, encouraging both themselves and their fans to keep striving no matter what the odds. Nice shirt, odd fit

This shirt looks and feels very nice, and there's no weird stitching or loose threads, but the fit was a little off. It was a little short on my husband who is 6'1", but if he stands with his hands down it doesn't really LOOK too short. It's when he raises his arms for anything that it seems weirdly tight across his the chest and it pulls the hem of the shirt up quite a lot. This could just be a body type thing, but he doesn't have that issue in other shirts the same size and style. It's a shame because the shirt itself seems really nice.

Great clean-cut, casual shirt. Material is thick as you should expect for a true oxford shirt, even with the stretch/elastane. Good fit, sleeves arent overly long. You’ll probably need to iron it. Overall very happy with purchase.

Amazon Essentials competes well with other store brands
Very Nice and comfortable shirt, on the thicker side and is slightly blue, baby blue perfect in fall winter might be a little thick for summer. the buttons and stitching all seem well done for the price. The size was true and fit great, the big tall size worked great, the shirt does not seem to wrinkle easily since it is thicker
