Complete nutrition for all discus fish, this color-enhancing food consists of sinking soft granules that maintain their structure. Designed specifically for discus fish, it features a rich blend of color-boosting ingredients like krill and gammarus, along with natural astaxanthin sourced from Haematococcus algae (175 mg/kg of food). The formulation includes highly digestible aquatic protein derived from premium sources, allowing the granules to quickly develop a meaty texture in water without excessive swelling.

Discus Color Granules is a dye-free and preservative-free color food made from gently processed soft granules suitable for all discus fish. The well-balanced mix of color-enhancing components, such as natural astaxanthin from Haematococcus algae (175 mg/kg of food), gammarus, and krill, promotes natural color enhancement. Furthermore, the presence of optimally digestible aquatic protein, omega fatty acids, minerals, and trace elements strengthens disease resistance, supports healthy growth, and enhances fertility.

The sinking granules are easily digestible, quickly softening without expanding or losing their shape when wet, ensuring minimal water pollution.

Discus fish, or Symphysodon, are part of the Cichlidae family and are known to be among the most delicate ornamental fish species, having specific requirements for their living conditions, including their diet. Being picky eaters, discus often become accustomed to a particular type of food provided by their breeder. However, with a gradual introduction, they can typically be encouraged to try different food options. Since discus have a short digestive tract, it’s crucial that the food is fed sparingly and does not expand in their stomach. The Sera discus food rapidly forms a meaty consistency in water, which is highly favored by these fish while ensuring it does not swell excessively. Alongside a staple diet that serves as a solid foundation for discus feeding, the Sera discus food line also features color enhancement and growth formulas.

All Sera aquarium foods are part of the “Nature” range and are free from dyes and preservatives.

All around helpful---worth the money!
Format: Paperback
This guide has been most helpful for all the folks I help prepare for the iTEP test! It gives insight into what each section of the test is looking for along with examples and great tips about actually TAKING the test. In the Writing and Speaking sections, it also gives sample scores and comments from the Master Grader which is very helpful too.

Comprehensive, clear and coherent!
Format: Paperback
The iTEP Practice Guide combines a no-nonsense approach to the specific iTEP tests and at the same time offers exercises that task the student with what they need to know. Exercises not only serve the purpose of scoring well, but the overall approach is communicative competence. We use the text in our group and one-to-one classes with very positive--and lasting--results.
