During the Revolutionary War, tension grew between local militias and a standing army. The Founding Fathers attempted to strike a balance, enshrining an army, navy, and a "well-regulated Militia" in the Constitution. The US soon witnessed the rise of a professional military, a boon to its successes in the War of 1812, the Mexican War, and the Civil War. However, after the Civil War, the US soon learned that the purpose of a peacetime army is to prepare for war. When war did arrive, it arrived with a vengeance, gutting the trenches of the Great War with effective innovations: tanks, planes, machine guns, and poison gas. The US embraced the technology that would win both world wars and change the nature of battle in the Second World War. The nuclear era brought encounters defined by stalemate--from the Cold War conflicts of Korea and Vietnam to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Since 9/11, the US has been frustrated by unconventional warfare, including terrorism and cyberwar, largely negating the technological advantage it had held. My dog managed to pop this and completely chew through it in a matter of 4 days. It was definitely cute and she loved the size of it but with her chewing all the way to the core we have to get rid of it. I thought it was a good material but I guess I was wrong. Kind of sad considering the money spent only lasted 4 days

Great dog toy

The amount of stupid and cute these dogs look like when they shake this ball and smack their own faces! It took a hot second for either dog to understand where to bite on the ball, but now that they do, they both will play with it for a while. Great purchase, came with a pump to blow the ball up.

Heavy chewers can't break these alone.

These toys are AWESOME! As long as you don't get tricked into playing tug of war with them, they will last a very long time (almost 2 months) with a heavy chewer that tears through most toys in a couple hours. The tug pressure rips a seam. Then, that portion is a goner. However, the rest of the toy stays intact.

Well made & my dog LOVES them!

Great value for FIVE very cute and well made stuff-less toys with crinkly paper inside and TWO squeakers each. My dog loves playing with them! I have two in his toy box and put three up to save for later for backup if/when he destroys the first two. 😂 I love the cute and unique designs of the squirrel, donkey, fox, cow, and giraffe, too.
