Care

General Maintenance: Repot only when rootbound (generally once a year). Cut any dead/dying leaves at the base - watch out for the spikes!

Temperature: Prefers to be in warm temperatures. Household temperatures are fine.

Light: Requires bright light, preferably direct sun. Bright indirect light can also work, but if light is too low, the mangave will lose its distinctive colouring.

Watering: Water only once the soil has completely dried out, as they are prone to root rot.

Soil: Needs a well-draining soil to prevent root rot. Using cactus soil or adding perlite or bark for extra drainage to regular soil would be perfect.

Fertilizer: Fertilize with any cactus/succulent fertilizer.
