Scania , of Swedish origins - are well known in the truck market, including their manufacture of fire appliances. The Scania vehicles of this type are used mostly by city and municipal fire brigades and carry between 1000 and 4000 litres of water, as well as foam, where necessary. Other additional rescue equipment includes ladders, cutting tools and mobile generators.
The highly detailed Oxford model is decorated in silver, red and yellow, with distinctive blue and white stripes. It also features the detailed West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service badge emblem on the sides of the cab doors. The authentic number plate HX58CNZ dates it as being introduced into the fire service in 2008.
