Description: The ME3-HDSD kit from ACT integrates their popular Heavy Duty pressure plate with a Performance street rigid-hub disc, offering outstanding performance for both street and race applications. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to augment clamp load, diminish deflection, and extend clutch life. Through a four-stage heat-treating process, all diaphragms are fortified for unparalleled performance. Precision cover stampings on ACT pressure plates ensure rigidity and consistency. The Performance street rigid-hub discs feature premium organic materials with elevated copper content for superior heat transfer. Additionally, their steel-backed lining provides greater burst strength and durability. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for enhanced strength and durability, while the rivet design and materials are carefully selected for maximum strength. These discs are the minimum weight street disc for faster shifts. Monoloc, included in the kit, ensures optimal performance by providing uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate, guaranteeing proper alignment regardless of driver influence or vehicle modifications.
