The core of the Pyro Ultra is Hollyland’s proprietary TWiFi transmission codec. It combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies into a unified, composite link. Rather than picking just one band, it uses both simultaneously alongside automatic frequency hopping. This prevents signal drops and tears, even on crowded convention floors or active concert stages.

2. Massive Range & Ultra-Low Latency

• Line-of-Sight (LOS) Range: Transmits clear signals up to 4,900 feet (1.5 km), vastly outperforming the 1,300-foot limits of previous Pyro models.

• Focus Mode: By prioritizing responsiveness, latency drops as low as 20 ms (at 1080p). This real-time response rate allows focus pullers to track fast-moving subjects effortlessly.

3. Infinite Scalability via Broadcast Mode

The transmitter handles monitoring setups of any size:

• Standard Mode: Links up to 4 dedicated physical receivers and 2 mobile devices simultaneously.

• Broadcast Mode: Enables the transmitter to cast to an unlimited number of receivers, allowing large crews, clients, and multiple departments to monitor the same feed without adding lag or taxing the transmitter.

4. Input, Output, & Cross-Compatibility

• HDMI 2.0: Supports inputs and local loop-outs up to true 4K60 at a stable 12 Mbps.

• 3G-SDI: Offers secure broadcast-level connections up to 1080p60, including full support for fractional frame rates (like 23.98 or 59.94 fps).

• Adaptive Downscaling: The receiver automatically downscales 4K transmission to 1080p if connected to an older HD-only production monitor.
