"In the past, not many knew of the Swedish black / death metal band Third Storm, still they managed to keep this beast going from 1986 - 1988. Other than founding member Heval Bozarslan, the lineup was completely different back then. Four 14-15 year-old crazy metalheads who worshiped extreme metal of that time and wanted to make their own noise in their home town Uppsala. Perhaps they were not very talented musicians back then, not strange since they were only kids, but they did a dozen shows and a couple of rehearsal demos before splitting up way too soon. Years passed, each member went their own way and the band dwelled in obscurity till 2014 when two original members, Heval and guitarist Jimmy Eriksson awakened this beast once again. Two new members joined, David Eriksson (guitar) and Daniel Ekeroth (bass), and session drummer Johan Ericson helped the band to record their EP Taritiya Me which saw the light of day in the fall of 2015 on Dark Descent Records. This line-up showed a new face of Third Storm. While the spirit of the '80s was there, now they were better musicians with better song-writing. The band proved with Taritiya Me that they can be reckoned with and indeed that 26 minutes EP blew many doubtful minds away. Soon after the EP, Jimmy had to leave for various reasons so Hasse Hansson joined as the second axeman. The band also found their full-time drummer Alvaro Svanerö. Both Hasse's song writing skills and lead wizardry combined with Alvaro's breathtaking drumming raised the band to a new level of excellency as clearly shown on their debut full-length album The Grand Manifestation which is definitely one of the finest albums of this year. According to Bozarslan, this is the Third Storm was supposed to sound like 30 years ago."It's hard to put Third Storm in one category, and that's a good thing. Black / death / doom / thrash, all blended together, the variety throughout the album is well-crafted and there's everything for everyone who love extreme metal here; brutality, heaviness, speed, melodies, chaos, doomy stuff, blast beats etc, and everything is excellently done in it's pure blackest form, and with a very raw but crispy wall of sound at the same time, and all the songs stand out and are actually very catchy. The Grand Manifestation is also a concept album and part one of a trilogy. You have to read the complex but interesting story itself (included in the booklet along with the lyrics) in order to grasp it fully. An existential and philosophical journey with lots of metaphors and symbols that can only come out of Heval's imaginative mind. Great ball for limited entertainment. Replaceable outer shell is an amazing option!

Bought this for our 45lb, ball-obsessed Dutch shepherd/pit bull dog mix. I had one of these years ago with the hard shell and couldn’t be happier with the new foam shell.
The new foam shell is much quieter and while our dog might put holes in it with his teeth, he doesn’t seem to ever pull pieces off.
For engagement level, he found it VERY interesting at first and was scared to grab it, but once he got over that he started holding it in his mouth even when it shakes and just tries to keep it.
Isn’t the best for fetch or anything as he has trouble letting it go when it is actively moving, but it makes him happy while he has it. We just make sure to monitor him while it is out.
The ability to change the outer shell and just buy a replacement for the shell instead of a whole new toy is a lovely feature that makes me very happy to continue buying from this company.

Great Interactive Option

To start, I have been very happy with this purchase. A couple of key points for me are durability and being able to keep my dog's attention. I have had it for almost a year, just a month shy, and she hasn't managed to get through the foam outer shell even though she tries real hard to do so. Let's just say, she's hard to find toys for because of her habit of finding the point of failure where she can pick and gnaw at until the toy is no longer safe for her to have. With this toy, she not only found her match, but it also has her watching, waiting, and even stalking. Only one small issue has recently occurred: the motor has started having an issue where the charge doesn't hold, and it doesn't remain on afterwards. I have reached out to Cheerble directly to see about replacing it since I am still within their 12-month timeframe, and they responded right away.

Quality product for the right dog...

Honestly it's a really cool product well constructed and moves around on its own with several different modes. The design id brilliant with a tough rubber ball that unscrew to expose the element that makes it move in the middle. The dog won't be able to unscrew it but you can if you ever need to replace the ball for any reason but it would take some work for a dog to destroy the outer ball. Almost like "Kong" type material. The ball is about the size of a softball and the element inside is about the size of a golf ball. I thought my dog would love this but she was afraid of it, which is strange because she's afraid of nothing. Anyways I gave it to my neighbor upstairs and she has a yorkshire terrier who plays with it all the time so it all worked out great. Quality product . Good job!

Durability

won’t give this product 1 star because my dog still had a good time with it for a few hours. After opening and preparing it, I gave it to my dog and it definitely caught his interest. However, when he chewed on it, plastic pieces started breaking off and he began swallowing them. This product is definitely not suitable for aggressive chewers.
