Introducing the Massena LAB Archetype 1.0, a friends-and-family-exclusive limited-edition chronograph with vintage styling and an eye-catching, champagne dial. The Archetype 1.0 is the successor to the Archetype 0.0, a vintage-inspired chronograph with a gilt dial released in 2021.

The dial of the Archetype 1.0 is inspired by some of our favorite chronographs from the mid-century. The champagne dial, which changes color depending on the light from pale salmon to ivory, features applied, rhodium-plated Arabic numerals and navy blue indices. At the center of the dial is a prominent, escargot style spiral tachymeter. The dial has two subdials: at 6 o'clock, a thirty-minute counter; and at 9 o'clock, the small seconds.

For increased legibility, the hands are color-coordinated for timekeeping or chronograph functions. Stainless steel hands are employed for hours, minutes, and seconds, while the chronograph and the thirty-minute counter hands are blued steel.

The Archetype 1.0 measures 42mm and is cased in stainless steel, which is both polished and brushed for visual interest. The watch features a double-domed sapphire crystal.

The watch is powered by the Swiss-made, manual-wound, Sellita caliber SW510 with 58 hours of power reserve.

The Archetype 1.0 is fitted with Italian-made, Saffiano leather watch straps and a Swiss-made, stainless steel Massena LAB buckle.
