#FAQ

What is the KAGU floor liner?

KAGU is our most popular all-weather floor liner. It features a carbon fiber-embossed Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) top surface that delivers a modern, sporty look alongside full waterproof protection. Every liner is digitally designed for a vehicle-specific fit, with raised edge walls to contain spills, mud, and debris and backed by our patented three-layer MAXpider® construction.

Who is the KAGU best suited for?

KAGU is built for daily commuters and city or suburban drivers who want serious all-weather protection without the heavy, industrial look of a traditional rubber mat. It's one of the most visually refined all-weather liners on the market — precision-fit, lightweight, and finished in a carbon fiber pattern that actually complements your interior instead of just sitting on top of it.

Is KAGU fully waterproof?

Yes. The TPR top layer combined with raised edge walls creates a waterproof tray that captures spills, mud, and snowmelt before they ever reach your carpet. Our MAXpider® underlayer adds a second moisture barrier between the liner and the vehicle floor.

How do I clean the KAGU floor liner?

Remove from the vehicle and shake off loose debris. Rinse with a hose or pressure washer. Scrub with warm soapy water and a soft brush, rinse thoroughly, and air-dry before reinstalling. The TPU surface resists staining so no harsh cleaners are needed, and it's faster to clean than any carpeted alternative.

How does KAGU compare to other all-weather floor liners on the market?

Most competing all-weather liners are built from a single rigid material — stiff, heavy, and prone to edge curling. KAGU uses a flexible TPU top layer that stays pliable year-round and conforms better to your vehicle floor. Our MAXpider® bottom layer grips carpet without the nibs and pegs other brands use, which means no dents in your carpet and no liner creeping out of position. Add the three-layer XPE foam cushioning that competing liners simply don't have, and KAGU delivers more protection, more comfort, and a better-looking interior.

How does KAGU compare to factory floor mats?

Factory mats are designed to approximate a fit, they're made in bulk to cover a range of configurations and leave gaps at the edges. KAGU is digitally designed to your exact vehicle model, so it covers more surface area with no gaps. It's also fully waterproof, where factory mats are typically carpet that absorbs moisture and stains permanently. KAGU is an upgrade on every metric: coverage, protection, durability, and appearance.

What is the MAXpider® three-layer construction?

All our floor liners use a patented three-layer system: a product-specific top layer (rubber or carpet depending on the liner), a Cross-link Polyethylene (XPE) foam middle layer for shock absorption and sound dampening, and the patented MAXpider®  underlayer (US Patent 8,461,065 B2) on the bottom. That bottom layer is what sets us apart — it grips carpet firmly using a velcro-like surface that holds the liner in place without nibs or pegs that can dent or damage carpet fibers.

Are our floor liners eco-friendly and odorless?

Yes. Every liner we make is manufactured from eco-friendly, odorless materials — no latex, BPA, or harmful plasticizers. This matters especially for EV and hybrid owners sensitive to cabin air quality, and it's a meaningful advantage over traditional rubber floor mats that are known to produce that chemical smell.

One of my favorite pieces of cookware!
Color: Red, Size: 7Qt
This cast iron pot is one of my favorite kitchen items. It's beautiful, it cooks great, cleans well, is excellent for many different uses, and I get a work out when I use it lol. Seriously I regard the weight as a bonus! Our grandmothers used cast iron, and it lasts forever. I'm so glad that I got it!

Great cast iron enameled pot
Color: Red, Size: 5Qt
I love this pot. The first cast iron pot I got was not enameled and was supposed to be pre-seasoned. I tried to make steaks for our anniversary and they stuck something awful. I couldn't see the char against the black and scrubbed forever trying to get it off. After that I only get enameled pots with white or cream interiors. When you sear food it might stick but you can scrape the brown stuff off the bottom of the pan with a flat edged plastic or wooden spoon or spatula and it adds flavor to sauces. The pans also wash so much easier. If something doesn't want to come off you can just soak it in hot soapy water for a few minutes and it scrubs off. With the white or cream interior you can tell when you get the pot clean. Most can't be put in the dishwasher but they are easy to wash by hand. I also learned to cook at a much lower temperature than I did with my stainless steel cookware. The cast iron holds the heat so much better that it can get too hot if you use any temp over medium high. I still haven't figured out how not to burn minced garlic when I follow recipes. They always say to let the oil get hot until it shimmers but the garlic spatters something awful and quickly burns. Finally I did it my own way and put it in the pan before the oil gets too hot. The cast iron pot is heavy and on a glass surface cook top like mine you can't scoot it because it can scratch the surface. The handles get very hot too so you have to use hot pads, preferably silicone ones. The pot came with cute little teepee shaped hot pads that didn't really fit the handles well but fit the lid fine. This size is great for baking sourdough bread. Most recipes have you preheat the pot for an hour before adding the dough to bake. The lid fits tight enough to hold in steam from the dough to help the loaf develop a nice crust on it. I line the pot with parchment paper and the dough doesn't stick. You can also make soup and stews in this pot. It is safe on the cook top or inside the oven. I think the quality is good, but I'm not an expert on that. I know my pot hasn't shown any cracks or chips but I treat it carefully not exposing it to high heat when it is cold or a cold surface when the pot is hot so the glass enamel isn't exposed to temperature shock to avoid any cracking risk. Red is my favorite color and the pot looks great displayed on my cook top.

Heavy Smallish Handle Wonderful Dutch Oven
Color: Red, Size: 5Qt
As many have noted this lidded Dutch Oven is extremely heavy. But it cooks and cleans up beautifully, is well made and attractive. In my opinion the handles are relatively small for such a heavy pot, my one complaint. The mitts are cute but more decorative than truly protective as the handles are so small. Just be very careful picking up and moving the pot especially from the oven. I chose the red color which looked vibrantly cheerful in my white kitchen. The 5 qt capacity works for modest to regular-sized portions without second helpings for 4-6 people. However, if cooking for more people, want larger portions, 2nd helpings or leftovers, go with a larger pot. Overall, given its great construction, price, cooking performance, and attractiveness, this is a no-brainer purchase if you won’t mind relatively small handles and a heavy pot.
