- Frame has been ergonomically engineered to promote contact with the helmet during impact – including rear support edge that fits closer to the body and raised chest to avoid hyper-flexion injuries - thus providing a solid surface which instantly channels damaging, compressive impact energy away from the neck and on to the support.
- Frame’s anatomical profile promotes positive helmet contact in event of a crash while allowing rider freedom of movement.
- Rear stabilizer system helps keeps support in position and is also designed to channel extreme energy loads away from the spine by transmitting it across the shoulder and helping to avoid serious spinal injury.
- Ultra-lightweight EVA foam on the support’s underside for comfort and positioning and to distribute the impact force over the widest possible area.
- A new closure system for convenient engagement of support and to facilitate quick removal in case of emergency.

Top notch quality copper and cold flexibility.

This is what you need for most 13.8 Volt power pigtails on portable ham radios. They will safely handle over 200 watts in most applications and the wire is flexible in the cold. I have set it outside as a reality check when it was 18.3F degrees and it flexes essentially the same as at room temperature. The copper itself is very fine strands and will likely never fail from normal use flexing. It solders easily with my 40 watt soldering iron. I will not hesitate to buy more if I need it.

This wire is great! I echo the other reviews indicating that the insulation and wire are very flexible and easy to solder. I have had wire that makes you question your ability to solder. Then there is wire like this that makes it so easy!

Best wire on Amazon
Size: 12 silicone wire red 10ft and black 10ft, Color: silicone wire red and black
I am convinced that this is some of the best wire on Amazon, if not in general. It's much thicker with more strands inside than other wire labelled as the same AWG. It has much higher quality insulation that can withstand double the temps of the cheaper stuff (big deal if using in engine bay etc.). And even then somehow its supper supple and soft to work with, strips very easily and cleanly. Definitely recommend spending the extra $ to go with BNTECHGO brand for wire. I was very please with both the 12 and 14 AWG wire in 10ft red and black.
